Industrial Control Systems / Direct Control Systems vary from SCADA in that they are typically hardwired rather than remote. The data acquisition portion was at one time absent from ICS/DCS, but in modern environments, there is typically some form of data collection integrated. Our ability to play substantial roles in these arenas is enhanced by our internal network of skilled programmers and process engineers. Our IT networking team also plays a large role on the roleout of such systems after the P&ID stage which is typically administered by our Construction Sister.
