In 2001 Big-King Communications was incorporated in Alberta for the design and implementation of wireless networks for SCADA systems. The scope of our projects often included construction components and heavy integration with existing systems and enterprise level IT infrastructure. Our clients were typically Oil and Gas producers, but also included utility and water treatment groups. Due to changes in the economy in 2008, our team diversified into tower construction and engineering work in the United States. In 2012, some of our company assets were seperated into a construction company that is today still one of the Big-King sisters.
